Question: About how much would a 16.16 carat yellow diamond ring cost?

Depends on the quality of the stone and depth of color. If it 's just a really yellowy-brown diamond, but not a fancy color (think canary), then it will be worth a lot less then a natural fancy yellow stone. Regardless, a single 16.16 ct stone would be worth tens of thousands of dollars. Even a cluster of 16.16cts would be several thousand dollars. You would have to give us more information before you could get a real answer.

Think of the 3 Cs. Cut Clarity Colour If the diamond is round, very clear (white) and no inclusions (flaws in the crystal), it could be worth $10,000 per carat. Since "champagne " diamonds in popular you could get between $5 and $8,000 per carat. Take it and get it appraised.
