If the rings are similar in style, it 's okay to wear them together. Because you love them both (or love one and think the other is really nice), you should limit wearing them together. Wear the white gold one more regularly, as it should be much more durable. The sterling silver one is not going to be anywhere near as durable, so you will want to either limit wearing it, or get it checked frequently so you don 't lose stones out of the setting. Speaking from experience, --I destroy sterling chains regularly and stick to white gold for my sterling pendants now; --I used to wear an emerald and diamond anniversary band on one hand, and a tsavorite ring on the other, damaged both so limit it to once in awhile now (tsavorite is a green garnet, looks similar to emerald) --Emeralds are not the most durable stones, and can be easily chipped/ damaged, so you may want to limit wearing them unless you have a desk job and never have to stick your hands in a copier or printer, etc. |
