Question: Des anone have an aquamarine gemstone ring on a white gold setting?

I am designing a ring with my, my husband, and my son& #039;s birthstones but two of the stones are very light colors- aquamarine and green amethyst. One website I was on said that the lighter colored gemstone colors get lost in the white gold setting and that yellow gold would bring out the colors better but I like white gold better. However, if you can& #039;t tell the color of the auamarine stone, then what is the point? In other words, I at least want it to look like it is a light blue stone. No, one will be sapphire, one green amethyst, and one aquamarine. |
