Question: Stamps on gemstone ring... what do they mean?

Hello! I was looking over a piece of jewellery of mine, and got a bit confused as to what the stamps mean. It& #039;s a ring I bought. Saphire and what I think are diamonds, with a yellow gold band. I was looking at the band today and saw it has & quot;13& quot; and & quot;7.0& quot; stamped on the inside. Anyone know what they mean?

Sometimes, manufacturers put ring info inside of their piece. Example, the "13 " could stand for a design number, while the 7.0 is the ring size it was made in. You might see the numbers .750 meaning 18kt or .585 for 14kt. Hope that helps...
