Diamond Ring

Question: Would it be weird to wear a diamond ring on your ring finger when you're not married?

I am under 20 and I really want to buy myself a nice ring. This is not to look like i& #039;m married, or engaged, i just really want a nice diamond ring. However, i don& #039;t like wearing rings on any finger except my ring finger. Would it look weird, if i was wearing a diamond ring, on my ring finger with out being married or engaged? I would rather the first ring, but the second ring looks less "marriage " looking. Heck, I 'm not old enough to by myself a diamond ring but if my parents bought me one I would sure wear it. I also only wear rings on my ring finger. I don 't think it would be weird, people might look at you as if you were married, but I don 't think its weird.

I do it all the time. it 's weird to wear a wedding band and engagement ring when you 're not married, though, as those are not accessories but symbols.

A diamond ring will get you less attention from guys because they might think you are married. If you wonder why guys aren 't asking you out, it might be because you 're wearing a diamond ring on your ring finger.

I think the second one looks less "married " like. And it 's really gorgeous too! There 's nothing wrong with getting a nice diamond ring just because you want one. They are beautiful. And if it 's on your right ring finger that should be even better! Since usually it 's supposed to be on the left right? So if people may start to wonder, they should think "Oh it 's on the right. She must not be engaged ". And it wouldn 't really matter anyways! If you wanna get one, go for it. And personally like I said I like the second one, but the 1st one is really nice looking to. So get which ever one you like.
