General rule of thumb is every six months unless you either bump it or drop it. Then you should get it checked but most of the time if you simply inspect the ring you should be able to see if there are any damages on the prongs holding the center diamond. You can also tap on the diamond with your nail to see if it moves. Some people gently tap on the ring and listen to any noise maybe coming from a loose diamond. Also don 't use any home jewelry cleaners that uses vibrations. Over time that could results in loose diamonds as well. |
