Diamond Engagement Ring

Question: What is the best way to clean a diamond engagement ring?

I work at Home Depot and my engagement ring gets a lot of dust stuck under the diamond and it really looses a lot of the sparkle to it. I get it cleaned at the jewelry& #039;s usually once a month but is there any good products that you know of to keep it clean in between. They do free cleanings like all other stores but I usually can not get to the store more than once or twice a month and would like to keep it nice and sparkly in between. Thanks.

I 've always used a non abrasive (gel) toothpaste and a clean toothbrush, gently brush around the prongs (sides and top) of your diamond ring..toothpaste also works well with sterling silver to polish and shine..congratulations on your engagement!

You can clean it using household items such as liquid detergent, then use a soft brush to clean away the dust and other dirt. Rinse it out with warm water to have your diamond looking clean. Hope that helped brilliance.com/ diamonds
